App Store Description

The MotorCo VR Guide to Istanbul is a VR and Location based guide to this city in Turkey.

The user interface shows the users location relative to the other attractions in the city, sorted from nearest to farthest. That way, one knows what is near by.

Each attraction has further detail, and on the detail page, there is a live map which will take you to the location and a Virtual Simulation of the location.

You can use it as a guide before you go as well as while you are there. It will help you optimize your time, and with Virtual you'll know what the attraction looks like before you book it, or go etc.

The focus is on the monuments and famous sites, as they show the best visually, but we added several hotels and famous restaurants as well.

Have fun and let us know what you think.

About Istanbul

Istanbul, historically known as Constantinople and Byzantium, is the most populous city in what is modern-day Turkey and the country's economic, cultural, and historic center. Istanbul is a transcontinental city in Eurasia, straddling the Bosphorus strait (which separates Europe and Asia) between the Sea of Marmara and the Black Sea.

Its commercial and historical center lies on the European side and about a third of its population lives on the Asian side. The city is the administrative center of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (coterminous with Istanbul Province), both hosting a population of around 15 million residents. Istanbul is one of the world's most populous cities and ranks as the world's 7th-largest city proper and the largest European city. Istanbul is viewed as a bridge between the East and West.

Approximately 13 million foreign visitors arrived in Istanbul in 2015, five years after it was named a European Capital of Culture, making the city the world's fifth most popular tourist destination
