This APP is used for Vythos SMO (Seafloor Monitoring Observatory), a massively distributed sensing platform consisting of independent nodes, able to descend up to 1000 m below sea level for up to 2 weeks per deployment. The SMO can be loaded with different sensors depending on its particular mission. Currently, it can monitor temperature, salinity, audio, pH, magnetic susceptibility, accelerations, and record mechanical waves through the sediments.
