App Store Description

The Waggoner Computerized Color Vision Test (Waggoner CCVT) is a comprehensive color vision testing suite designed for anyone interested in assessing color vision deficiencies, from school nurses to the U.S. Military. The WCCVT includes several testing methods tailored for both pediatric and adult users, offering screening, diagnostic, and precision testing options.

The Adult Diagnostic Test within the WCCVT software represents the forefront of color vision testing technology. Recognized by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as one of three "precision" color vision tests, it is approved by the U.S. Navy, Army, and Coast Guard for all personnel and applicants, including pilots. This test effectively identifies both genetic and acquired color vision deficiencies while detailing their type and severity.

The app also includes Color Vision Testing Made Easy, the gold standard for pediatric color vision testing, and the D-15 test to support reimbursement requirements, though the D-15 is known to have lower sensitivity and specificity compared to WCCVT's diagnostic tests.
