We believe that everyone should have the ability to drink water wherever they are without creating single use plastic waste.
Our mission
We work to convince individuals to use water bottles that can be refilled in a sustainable way. Water Map has succeeded in making over 280 000 drinkable water fountains available worldwide and coffee shops and restaurants are now starting to join the network.
Our philosophy
Water Map has embraced Open Data principles to meet these non-commercial objectives. All the Drinking Fountains locations are stored on the Wikidata and Open Street Map databases. This Open Data is available to all.
