What is it about?

See the world through augmented-reality! Waypoint connects businesses in travel, restaurant, and many other industries to their users with immersive augmented reality (AR) experiences created by enabling interaction of the user’s phone with their physical surroundings via protected or public geo-pins and social sharing. A geo-pin is a 3D image at a certain longitude and latitude that has information about the place it represents. Geo-pins can either be public, private, or geo-protected — each type restricting access to a specific subgroup of people. Waypoint allows users to create geo-pins to denote landmarks, notable items, and anything else in the real world, and share them with whomever they desire.
