This place is suitable for small trip. The town is peaceful, clean and very historical. The marks from the war are still there, distinctive buildings from Malays, Arabian style, Nyonya's temple style, accesories from the straits, and also classic western design. This place is filled with history.

When you come to Muar, you will definitely pass by a Muar's bridge, then after that you can see the clock tower. The whole town's road is not complicated, the roads are divided by from Chinese saying" Number 1 to 6" roads. They divide them by area, so it's easier to recognize. If by walking, you can walk half of the town for just half a day.

Mostly the people are Chinese, and to more details, most of the Chinese are Hokkien, then TeoChew almost took the most part, you can also see Hainanses. Each of the ethics has their own uniqueness. The whole Muar you can sense a style of tradition. You can sense them from snacks, cafe and restaurants, but what's little bit surprising is most of the youngsters here dare to start out a business. You can see a lot of cafe's has born in Muar, to let this ancient town have a sense of modern/
