The algorithm is using a combination of mathematical body formulas and concepts like BMI (Body Mass Index), DBMI (Desired Body Mass Index formula), DCI (Daily Calorie Intake) and, part of its equation, the BMR (Resting Metabolic Rate), DCD (Daily Calorie Deficit) and DDCI (Daily Calorie Intake during the Diet period) needed to achieve desired weight loss in set timeframe.
