App Store Description

Used by more than 50,000 women in Italy Wher is the first app-navigator created by women for women where streets are rated based on how safe they are considered.

With a small action in app, each woman can rate city’s streets: the app gives back information collected through an easy-to-consult map that shows the most recommended streets and routes by women.

-> Rome, Milan, Turin, Naples and more than 20 other cities in Italy and Europe
-> More than 25,000 streets evaluated according to female safety perception
-> Different routes depending on time slot: Day, Evening and Night
-> A single large Community of women who come together to change cities together

Do you also want to help many women in your city?
Install Wher now and be a part of the change!

YOU CAN USE WHER FOR …
-- Do you have to cross a street where you've never been? --
Look for it on Wher, you will find out how it is rated by the Community: green (don’t worry), yellow (be careful), red (better not)

-- Do you have to go to a new place? --
Enter your starting and finishing positions, Wher calculates the most recommended route depending on whether it is day, evening or night (yes, the roads change a lot!)

-- Do you want to have your say on the city? --
In less than a minute you can also rate the roads you know: a small gesture that can truly make a difference.

WHER IS FOR YOU IF ...
--> You are a woman who wants to improve her city and share her knowledge to help other women.
--> You are a woman who is moving to a new city, either for study or for work.
--> You are an inveterate traveler who never lets anyone stop you!
--> You are simply a woman who wants to feel at ease in moving around the city, even if she knows little or not at all ... you want to feel self-confident!

A COMMUNITY OF WOMEN HELPING EACH OTHER
Wher, first of all, is a Community of women who evaluate streets for a better city.
In our Blog you can find all Wher activities carried out by the most zealous Wherriors, our Wher Ambassadors: Urban Mapping, Meetups and much more!

WHY WHER?
Because, statistically, women have a different perception of safety: still today about 1 in 3 women do not go out alone in the evening out of fear (against 1 in 12 men).

Every woman is different, of course, but Wher is for all women: feeling at ease and more aware is a right for everyone and makes everyday life better and with a strength that you didn't know you had.
