What is it about?

An informational tool to help Warfighters take their hearing health into their own hands. The app combines text with contextual demonstrations to provide knowledge and understanding of the dangers of auditory injury and what life could be like if proper precautions are not taken. The Warfighter can experience hearing loss and tinnitus through simulations before a permanent and progressive disability is acquired. When questions arise as to how well hearing protection devices (HPDs) are fitting, the HPD Check feature will allow the Warfighter to compare his/her current fit of HPDs in his/her own ears to examples of good fitting devices.
