Founded in 1991, Rock and Wrap It Up! is an anti-poverty, anti-hunger think tank that supports over 400 agencies in North America by providing food and other resources to those in need. Their Mardi Bra project helps to collect feminine hygiene products and deliver them to women who can't afford to purchase them.

Rock and Wrap It Up! was identified by the White House in 2014 as an example of the tools and services that support the administration's Climate Change Initiative. RWU founder Syd Mandelbaum was honored in 1999 by the Clinton administration with a Point of Light award. They helped author the nation's Food Recovery Act in 2009, passed unanimously by both houses of Congress.
