* Since public hotspots require login to Wi-Fi, most VPN apps cannot support automatic 'on-demand' starting of the VPN because it would interfere with logging-in to captive portals which typically require your connections to go directly to their local network.

* However, by combining WiFiProtect with our TownWiFi app, we solve that problem and turn on VPN when accessing to public Wi-Fi as well. Auto-Login with TownWiFi and Auto-Protect with WiFiProtect!
