App Store Description

Word to Word is a creativity tool which searches for links between pairs or words. This can be helpful for generating ideas and fresh insights. The user can enter pairs of words that she wants to link, or alternatively, enter no words and the app will select random pairs of words to link.

For example, if the user wanted to find a link between “Spitfire” and “Portent”, then entering these words and tapping the “Link Words” button will display a list 38 words, each semantically linked to the previous and next word, that links the two original words.

The user can then double-tap a word in the list to see its definition; triple-tapping will display the word’s synonyms, and four-taps will show the antonyms.

The user can also generate lists of random words, by entering “@random” in the first field. The app will then generate a list of between 8 and 12 random words. The user can specify the number of random words by entering the number, for example, “@random 20” or “@random 30”.

If the user enters a single word (rather than a pair) then the app will display the synonyms for the word.
