Words of Sight is a learning tool designed for new readers to learn to recognise common words by sight.
Developed by parents in the process of teaching their own children to read as a response to a need for a simple, clear, easy to use fun tool to encourage learning.
Words of Sight presents 10 lists of 100 words each taken from the Fry Sight Words (Included in this is the Dolch Sight Words of 220 words).
Words of Sight features include:
* 10 groups of 100 words each.
* Visual feedback of your progress on the home screen (the circles around each list colour in as you progress through the list).
* Intuitive swipe functionality to move between each word.
* Ability to create your own list of words (tap the heart icon to add and edit your own personal list of words.
* Functionality to have the device speak the word allowed.
* Functionality to check the dictionary definition from within the app without leaving the app.
* Add words from Safari, or any app that uses text, via the share extension.
* Shuffle the order of the words, or reset the read progress for each group of site words (via the settings functionality).
* Dark mode support.
