Our product provides a feature for the supervisors to monitor the location of users in real time, so that they can assign new tasks for users based on user's current location. This feature is implemented on Web. So we have to track real location of users who use the app, post the location into firebase, then display user's location on the web for supervisors to view.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
