App Store Description
This app allows the medical professional to upload a photo from their phone of a patient’s case e.g. a mole, and transfer the image directly to the patient's file on their PC.
Wound Mapp automatically transfers the patient image .jpg from your phone to the PC or company server within a few seconds. Simply label the image with the patient's ID to create a unique .jpg file. The image is kept on your own private network.
Note: Wound Mapp is an extended version of the MedImage app. MedImage was created in consultation with a local New Zealand doctor, who explained that it would save time, energy and effort compared with other solutions.
You will need to download a companion server from http://medimage.co.nz to your PC, Mac or Windows/Linux Server.
The difference between Wound Mapp and MedImage is that there are body location categories that drop down when typing in the patient ID. This makes Wound Mapp more suitable for wound analysis, because photos of a wound will appear in the same folder over time, allowing progress of a single wound to be determined. This works well with the Wound Mapp Add-on to the MedImage Server software.
This product has been built in partnership with Nurse Maude, New Zealand.
