Xes Network

Xes is an entrepreneurship society and a diverse community of entrepreneurially minded people in supported by Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and Business College Helsinki. We want to encourage people with entrepreneurial mindset to achieve their dreams and become a successful by inspiring, challenging, offering education and working as a low barrier testbed for ones ideas to be able to get an appreciated feedback.

Sign-up to via our mobile App and join our Testing Tuesday, which is weekly event in Xes corner at Haaga-Helia Pasila campus and open for everyone. It has been running from the end of the 2018 and more regularly from the beginning of 2019. The appreciated feedback of attendees and interest of new individuals has shown that the concept is needed and it has a place in Haaga-Helia ecosystem.

We organise Testing Tuesdays with changing topics leaded by professionals of the industry, inspirational entrepreneurs and visionaries.

To name few we have hold workshop with Will Martin, serial entrepreneur and specialist in English language coaching about how to improve your content writing skills. We have had pitching event with Emilia Roiha, Sales Manager from Industryhack. As well as workshop about cash flow estimates with Mikko Järvinen, an author, scholar and practitioner of entrepreneurship.

Challenges begin with a briefing session, where a case owner presents a business problem. The teams or individuals attending has a limited time to solve the given challenge and best results or winning team will be rewarded. The goals are to challenge people to think outside the box, offer project based learning in certain topics and develop their teamwork skills and inspire to work hard for great results.
