Yolaroo Alphabet - Spelling and Reading can be used at home, in the classroom, or in the car on both iPhone and iPad. It is a great use of technology that makes learning and teaching English intuitive.

There are now 14 great activities to help teach over 147 different English words.
Each activity has a different goal to help the learner.
In learning mode the learner can learn words from A to Z using each individual app separately from A-Z or just one letter at a time.

ABC - This activity introduces the letters and the words.

Letters - This second activity shows how letters and words match.

Combine it - This activity matches pictures with words.

Picture it - This activity is a test that matches a single English word to
four simple pictures.

Spell it - This activity shows the spelling of each word.

Match it - This activity is a test that matches reading four words to a single picture.

Listen Here - This activity plays the sound of a word or its spelling, then requires the learner to match the correct word to the matching word.

Listen Here II - This activity plays the sound of a word or its spelling, then requires the learner to match the correct word to the matching picture.

Hide it - This activity hides one of four different pictures, then requires that the learner match the correct word to the missing picture.

Hide it II - This activity hides one of four different words, then requires that the learner match the correct picture to the missing word.

Scramble it - This activity spells each word and then scrambles it so you can solve the word jumble.

XIII - This activity spells an unknown word that matches one of four possible pictures.

Guess Five - This activity has all 26 letters and an unknown word (taken from one of five shown pictures) which must be spelled.

Double it - This activity is a two card matching game. Match the correct word after finding the matching cards.

The other main part of the app is Challenge Mode.
In Challenge-mode the learner can test their knowledge with 3 different activities. Their high scores are placed on Apple’s Game Center, and they can challenge their friends.
