The Nutrien Fireworks Festival is a Saskatoon and askatchewan tradition with two nights of unique fireworks launched by different fireworks producers on Friday and Saturday nights of the Labour Day long weekend. Sunday is a fall back night in case of inclement weather. Plans are underway for special events at Remai Modern Art Gallery. Activities include a Cultural Show Stage, Art Show, and SGI Safety Fair, Family Fun Zone, as well as a highlight of local up and coming musicians.


Fireworks are anticipated to be set off barges and the Traffic Bridge or Broadway Bridge. Theme this year is ‘Rhythm Nation”. We will feature and highlight the rhythms of Saskatoon that make us part of a strong and diverse nation. Saskatoon cultural groups and how they experience rhythm, and how their rhythms affect the heartbeat of our community.
