This app provides a mobile interface to Zednet. Zednet is a web based software service designed to collect, process and display information related to water resource and water supply systems. It is aimed at assisting both water supply companies and bulk water consumers to track water use, assess potential leakage, and in particular to help them manage and reduce water losses.
Zednet has been designed developed and maintained by WRP Consulting Engineers. The system is continually updated with cutting edge features, with development driven by the needs of its users.
The most recent updates incorporated flexible charting, dynamic grid based data views and GIS capability using Google, Open Streetmap, or base layers exported directly from a client's GIS system. Users can further set up alarms and automated email reports to keep themselves informed of the state of their water distribution system.
Zednet is capable of hosting data automatically provided from a range of logger hardware, or even manually exported in text based formats. While it is not tied to a specific vendor, the solution primarily utilises the Cello range of data loggers from Technolog UK. Technolog is the world leading seller of data logging equipment for the water and gas industry.
