Bean Dreams, the sequel to the critically acclaimed Bean's Quest, is a platformer with a twist. The developers have streamlined the genre by removing the traditional jump button, and replaced it with a constantly jumping protagonist. Jump, roll, dash, and float through 48 handcrafted stages.
What's The Game?
Bean Dreams is a deceptively simple platformer. Players are given an intuitive interface that keeps you in complete control while all-new game features, gorgeous retina graphics, funky music, and 48 stages will bounce you to new heights. The developers believe they had the foundations for a perfect mobile platformer established in the original, now they have decided to refine the game experience even further.
What Makes it Fun?
The clever control scheme elevates the Bean series above nearly all other platformers on mobile. The controls coupled with the “Jump Par” achievement system, which counts the number of jumps taken in every stage, presents a unique and tremendously fun experience. There are crazy new environments with slippery slides, razor-sharp fans, pneumatic tubes, and popping bubbles that catapult you into the air. The game also includes a new chili power-up that enables a flaming mid-air attack so you can feel like a badass chili bean.
