Customizable News. Haystack TV: Watch world news, business & finance, and celebrity looks like they are trying to be the app that really lets you customize your news the way you want it. First pick from a few really broad categories. Then they give a stack of hashtags to select from, though I couldn't help but notice #sanders was never on the list. Also select some networks you love, at least they offered one of our favorites The Young Turks. After doing that they present you with news formulated around your picks. The selection was okay, but felt a little controlled. Their algorithm might need a little work, and some more categories and hashtags would be nice, but we like where they are going with it.
What is it about?
Haystack TV is whatever you want it to be. Just set it up with your preferred categories of news and then watch it get video news of topics that you'd like to see. Over time, the app gets smarter and gives you better results depending on your preferences and likes. Haystack TV covers all types of news and even has fun extras like late night talk shows and movie trailers. Just decide the type of news you want to see, and then sit back and relax.
