For anyone who enjoyed old-school Sonic games.

If you're familiar with Sonic games, then you'll know that Sonic CD is the game that introduces the Amy Rose character, as well as Metal Sonic, which is Dr. Eggman's most nefarious creation. If not, then this is the perfect time to jump in to the fray of a classic franchise. In Sonic CD, players must take control of Sonic the Hedgehog and explore the beautiful Little Planet while stopping Dr. Eggman from using the Time Stones to control time. In order to do this, you'll have to harness the power of Little Planet to travel through time and break Dr. Eggman's future by destroying his machines in the past and keeping the Time Stones away from him. This is a classic, and definitely a must-have if you've never played Sonic CD before or want to experience a true Sonic game.

We all love Sonic, and Sonic CD is a cult classic for Sonic games. This one has all of the standard Sonic action you've come to expect, and it introduces two important characters to the Sonic franchise. What's not to love here?

Edge Extended is a challenging game, but it has simple to learn controls. You will develop better reflexes and strategy skills as you progress through the levels. The game includes 48 levels, plus 15 bonus puzzles to keep you coming back for more.

For those who like logic based puzzle games.

Percepto is a puzzle game based on your perception of a room that alternates between two and three dimensions. So while the room may look 2-D or 3-D at times, you may have to think in the opposite dimension in order to solve the puzzle. You'll have to rotate between views in order to line up your character with the door, avoiding obstacles like moving blocks and stairs. Once you get Bruce to the door, he shouts out a cheerful "Woo hoo" to encourage you. It's a unique approach to puzzles and definitely worth checking out if you liked games such as Monument Valley and Fez.

Why we love it

Percepto is intensely challenging, and offers puzzle fans something they can sink their teeth into. It features great, even if simple, graphics and an impressive user interface. The controls are intuitive and easy to learn, but the game still offers plenty of challenge in its game play.
