Pop Goes The Piggy, Thanks To The New Bubbly Bird In Angry Birds Seasons' Back-To-School Update
It’s back-to-school season not only in the real world but also in the world of Angry Birds Seasons. Angry Birds Seasons, the seasonally aware edition of the popular physics-based puzzler, is heading back to school with its latest update. Teased just a few days ago by Rovio through a short animated film, the new update brings a new level pack simply called Back to School. Back to School contains 20 brand new schoolyard levels and new bonus levels featuring pencils, apples, backpacks, and playgrounds. These levels also feature new theme music straight out of the school of rock. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. On top of that, a brand new bird is introduced. Making her first appearance in the fifth level of Back to School, the new bird is “cute, pink, and bubbly — but watch out, this girl is no pushover!” Indeed, the new addition to the Angry Birds family may not look angry, but, boy, does she have one intense ability. Those thieving pigs better beware of her and her “uplifting” ways. With the help of her bubbles, she can lift pigs and objects alike and pop or drop them into oblivion. Back to School is, of course, a free update for all existing players of Angry Birds Seasons. New players can get it by downloading the latest versions of Angry Birds Seasons for iPhone and Angry Birds Seasons HD for iPad in the App Store for $0.99 and $2.99, respectively.
