Outwit Your Opponents With The New Gameplay Mechanic And Map Pack In Outwitters

March 7, 2013
Outwitters, the popular turn-based strategy game from Tilt to Live developer One Man Left, has just been updated with a new gameplay mechanic and a new map pack. Beginning with the latest version of Outwitters, Veggienaut's Bramble can now retract thorns it grows. What's more, it can now attack with said botanical barbs. One Man Left explains:
Bramble fans will be happy to hear that you can now remove less-than-ideally-placed barriers (though you’ll also lose that patch’s children in the process). As if that weren’t enough, thorns can now attack your enemies for 1 damage as their action for the turn. Snipers, medics, and runners beware!
Also in the latest version of Outwitters, you can now take advantage of a new second-generation map pack. Containing three 1v1 maps and two 2v2 maps, the new map pack is available in league play. But you can purchase it in the in-game store if you wish to play friendly games with its contents. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. But those are not all. The newly updated Outwitters also enables … ads. Apparently, One Man Left "fought hard to find other adequate revenue sources," but I guess it just had to go with ads at this point. Ads in Outwitters appear to free users and only for every third turn. They can be disabled by purchasing anything in the store. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.3 or later, the new version of Outwitters is available now in the App Store for free. Shortly after its release in July last year, Outwitters was hailed by as here at AppAdvice as our Game of the Week. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
