New Incredimail Update Brings Gmail Archiving, Improved Photo Inbox And More

May 12, 2013
Incredimail, the "incredible" magazine-style email app for iPad, has just received its first major update. For starters, the latest update to Incredimail brings improvements in email loading and syncing. POP3 and Hotmail are still not supported, though. The update also adds support for archiving, instead of immediately deleting, Gmail messages. Gmail archiving is enabled by default in Incredimail. But you can turn this off for each Gmail account you have in Incredimail in the app's settings section. Also added by the update is a new option for moving messages to folders directly from the full-screen message view. This is in addition to moving messages from the Edit Mode, which was added in the app's previous update. The new update also delivers the following enhancements:
  • New stationery backgrounds for even more ways to personalize your emails.
  • Improved Photo Inbox: Now you can view Facebook photo captions for your photos
  • Localized French and German versions now available. We’re working on more languages, so stayed tuned!
  • Many bug fixes and various performance enhancements.
Compatible with iPad running iOS 6.0 or later, the new version of Incredimail is available now in the App Store for free. Released last March, Incredimail earned an honorable mention in one of our App of the Week features here on AppAdvice. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
