Is Incredimail Really An Incredible Email Client For iPad?

March 8, 2013
There's a new iPad email app on the block, and it promises to be incredible. Or at least it does judging from its name. It's called Incredimail. And while its being incredible is open to question, its being different from most other apps of its kind is not. As you can see in the app's trailer below, Incredimail is an iPad-optimized email client whose primary feature is its magazine-like layout. Indeed, Icredimail may very well be dubbed as "Flipboard for email." But Incredimail is certainly not all style and no substance. It also packs a host of features that make handling email a better experience. For starters, Incredimail supports Gmail, Yahoo!, AOL, iCloud, and any other IMAP account. It lets you add as many email accounts as you want, but you have the option to view them in the app in a unified inbox. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. When viewing the app's magazine layout, it allows you to see previews of your messages as well as previews of the links (photos, videos, articles, etc.) they contain. Incredimail also appears to be tightly integrated with Facebook. It's entirely optional, but Facebook Connect is the way to go if you want to see your friends' Facebook profile images in the app. You also have to connect to Facebook if you want to use the app's Photo Inbox feature, which initially supports Facebook photos only. Compatible with iPad running iOS 5.1 or later, Incredimail is available now in the App Store for free. There are plenty more features to discover in the app. But I should also note that, yes, push notifications are also supported by Incredimail. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
