LensFlare Photo-Editing App Updated With New Interface, Layers Support And More

September 8, 2013
LensFlare, the popular photo-editing app developed by BrainFeverMedia for accentuating photos with optical effects, has just received a major update. First and foremost, LensFlare's new major update introduces a new interface that includes flat UI elements inspired by — you guessed it — iOS 7. On top of that is the app's newly added support for layers, allowing you to apply up to five effects at the same time without the need for additional rendering. Just tap the app's new Layers tab to get started. The new version of LensFlare also boasts advanced editing, including a long-overdue zoom mode that lets you zoom in for precise flare placement. Finally, LensFlare has also been updated with new lens textures, which are the same as those used in LensFlare Studio for Mac. The new version of LensFlare is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $1.99 download. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later. According to BrainFeverMedia, the aforementioned new features are also going to be added to LensFlare's sibling apps, LensLight and Alien Sky. LensLight provides various lighting effects, while Alien Sky offers different high-resolution space objects for customizing photos. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
