Gameloft Moves The Launch Of Modern Combat 5 To 2014

October 4, 2013
Back in June, Gameloft released the first trailer for the next game in its Modern Combat for iOS series, Modern Combat 5. The game was widely expected to arrive sometime this year. That is no longer the case. Earlier this week, Gameloft noted on Twitter, “In order to fully achive our vision for Modern Combat 5 we have decided to postpone the launch to 2014.” Modern Combat 5 was first demoed at E3. At the time, Gameloft never actually announced a release date. Nonetheless, the tweet does seem to confirm that releasing the game in 2013 was Gameloft’s original goal. Here is the Modern Combat 5 trailer: http://youtu.be/zjz614QVyfQ While we wait for Modern Combat 5, be sure to take a look at the previous games in the series. These include: Modern Combat: Sandstorm ($4.99), Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus ($6.99), Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation ($6.99), and Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour ($6.99).
