Readdle Brings Next-Generation Image Processing To Scanner Pro
Readdle has updated its popular scanning iOS application, Scanner Pro, adding "next-generation image processing" and promising that as a result, scanned images "look perfect." The already impressive $2.99 application allows iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch users to "scan" a document simply by taking a photograph. Scanner Pro then formats and processes the image accordingly, and offers to save the resultant file as a PDF. In an update to the app, however, Readdle has further improved the universal application. Calling the new feature "Amazing Text Quality," the developer explains:
We've created next-generation image processing that makes text on your scans look perfect. The change means scanned images now look even better. Scanner Pro can be downloaded in the App Store for $2.99, and is optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. If you've been searching for an iOS scanner for your iDevice, then look no further.
