Keepin' It Real: Real Racing 3 Gains Real-Time Multiplayer Plus New Flagship Supercars

Real Racing 3, the popular mobile racing game developed by Firemonkeys and published by Electronic Arts, has just added another layer of meaning to the adjective in its name.
Real Racing 3 is the latest installment in the popular Real Racing game series, which features real cars and real tracks. It also features real people as it lets players compete against other players in multiplayer mode.
Since its release late last February, Real Racing 3 has been offering a non-conventional type of multiplayer known as Time Shifted Multiplayer. In Time Shifted Multiplayer, you can race against other players, but only with their AI-controlled time-shifted versions.
Now, though, multiplayer just got real, so to speak, with the latest update to Real Racing 3, which pushes the game to version 2.0.
Real Racing 3 2.0 sees the earlier-then-expected introduction of real-time multiplayer mode. As a result, you can now race in real-time with up to four players via Game Center, with support for weekly multiplayer tournaments and multiplayer leaderboards.

And launching alongside real-time multiplayer is a new generation of flagship Supercars from Lamborghini and McLaren: the Lamborghini Veneno and the MacLaren P1.
Real Racing 3 2.0 also brings the following improvements:
Real Racing 3 2.0 is available now in the App Store for free. It's compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later.
