Do You Mynd? Popular Calendar App Updated With iOS 7 Redesign And More

Mynd, the smart calendar app developed by Alminder, has just received a major update. The update includes some interface tweaks for iOS 7, resulting in a cleaner and, of course, flatter look for the app. In addition, the update adds at least a couple of improvements to keep the home screen panel interaction experience within the app, as opposed to opening another app. As a result, tapping the Weather panel or the weather forecast on the event details screen now opens a customized weather page within Mynd, rather than opening the Weather Underground website in Safari. The new weather page shows 10-day and 12-hour weather forecasts for your locations, in addition to a graphical representation of the weather with the current temperature. Also, tapping the Reminders panel no longer launches the Reminders app. Instead, it now lets you view, add, or mark as complete reminders in a new Reminders page in Mynd. The new version of Mynd also offers the ability to disable Mynd Information:

You can now turn off "Mynd Information" (Home Screen alerts and travel notifications) for any event or an entire calendar. This is useful if you do not want to be reminded of events for a shared calendar. Simply open an event and tap on the Mynd Information panel to change this setting.

Also including some bug fixes, the new version of Mynd is available now in the App Store for free. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later.
