The Sequel To Retro-Style iOS Platformer Bloo Kid Has Been Released Out Of The Bloo
March 6, 2014
The sequel to the popular Mario-inspired, retro-style iOS platformer Bloo Kid has made its way to the App Store.
Simply called Bloo Kid 2, the sequel arrives two and a half years after the release of the original. And it picks up right where the first Bloo Kid game left off:
After rescuing his girlfriend from the hands of the evil wizard, Bloo Kid and Pink Girl enjoy life with their newborn "Pink Kid". But then, a whole new adventure starts just out of the bloo...The "colorful" couple are enjoying a nice day with their baby when a winged monster suddenly swoops down on them and abducts the little one. It's up to Bloo Kid, of course, to save the child, and it's up to you to guide him in his rescue mission. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. This mission challenges you to survive through 27 platforming levels across three different worlds, with various enemies and boss battles to face. Of course, like its predecessor, Bloo Kid 2 features colorful pixel art and a chiptune soundtrack. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, Bloo Kid 2 is available now in the App Store for free, with a $1.99 in-app purchase for removing interstitial ads.
