Google+ For iOS Updated With Stories Feature, New Photo Editor And More

June 3, 2014
Google has released another significant update to the official iOS app of its social networking site, Google+. Most notably, the latest update to Google+ for iOS introduces Google+ Stories. With Google+ Stories, the app can automatically combine your photos and videos along with places and travel maps from Location History and Location Reporting to create trip summaries or stories. These stories can then be tweaked to suit your preferences for sharing. The update also introduces a new photo editor, with new filters and creative tools apparently taken from Snapseed, which Google acquired in 2012. The new version of Google+ for iOS includes the ability to view the total content views on profiles, support for reporting abusive communities, and the usual bug fixes and performance improvements. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later, Google+ is available in the App Store for free. Google+ for iOS was previously updated last March with several improvements.
