Super Hexagon Creator Releases VVVVVV And Super Gravitron For iOS
June 12, 2014
Terry Cavanagh, the creator of Super Hexagon and Don't Look Back, has just released the long-awaited iOS port of the critically acclaimed VVVVVV.
First released for Mac and PC in 2010, VVVVVV is a 2-D pixel-art puzzle platformer game that has you playing as Captain Viridian. As the captain, you must explore a space station in search of the missing members of your crew, who have gone lost along with you in an alternate dimension.
Unlike most other platformers, VVVVVV doesn't let you jump from place to place. Rather, it lets you toggle gravity, enabling Captain Viridian to flip between the floors and the ceilings in the game.

As a bonus, Cavanagh has also released Super Gravitron, a free standalone iOS game based on the mini-game that originally appeared at the end of VVVVVV.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.3 or later, VVVVVV is available now in the App Store for $2.99.
Super Gravitron is, as mentioned, free in the App Store and is also compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.3 or later.
