Apple Once Again Launches An eBay Outlet Store

July 8, 2014
If you’re looking for refurbished Apple products, you may want to take a look at eBay. For the second time, Apple has quietly opened a "Factory Outlet eBay Store." Here you can find Apple Certified Refurbished products, including iPhones and iPads. First uncovered by AppleInsider, the store includes a number of items, and each comes with a one-year Apple warranty. Current deals are as follows:
  • 64GB White iPhone 5 (Factory Unlocked for GSM) for $499 $350 off MSRP
  • 64GB Black iPhone 5 (Factory Unlocked for GSM) for $499 $350 off MSRP
  • 32GB White iPhone 5 (Factory Unlocked for GSM) for $479 $270 off MSRP
  • 32GB Black iPhone 5 (Factory Unlocked for GSM) for $479 $270 off MSRP
  • 16GB White iPhone 5 (Factory Unlocked for GSM) for $449 $200 off MSRP
  • 16GB Black iPhone 5 (Factory Unlocked for GSM) for $449 $200 off MSRP
Apple launched its first eBay store in 2012, but it was closed down just a few months later. As AppleInsider concludes:
All traces of that original storefront ultimately disappeared from eBay before the 2013 iPad launches. AppleInsider later learned that the effort was part of a 3-month pilot program that Apple chose not to renew. Thus far, this year's store has only listed Apple Certified refurbished iPhone 5 models.
