Picture a feeble old man who has been jailed for hundreds of years in a futuristic style Norse prison. A voice guides you through the depths of the subterranean structure. You use your telekinetic abilities to find a way to escape. This is Rok, a new iPad puzzle game.
Listen to the voice
This is a game of puzzles where you must figure out how to move about and escape. The voice that speaks to you in the darkness can be helpful, so just make sure to listen.
Move objects telekinetically
Tap and drag objects to move, fling, and smash them. You may try various things within the scene to create reactions. A lot of it is trial and error, so do not be afraid to test your skills.
Tap the question mark
If you are completely stuck, you can tap the question mark in the corner. This will highlight objects that you can interact with and move. Some of them will be useful, while others are simply for show.
Rok is an interesting puzzler with a unique story. The visuals are well-designed for this type of game and the sounds as well as the voice in the dark bring an engaging fantasy feel to the experience.
