A sequel to Hungry Shark Evolution, Hungry Shark World has shot up the App Store charts after being introduced earlier this month.
If you couldn’t tell by the title, you’ll become a hungry shark who needs to eat. Along with different sea creatures, you can even wreak havoc above the water and chomp down on unsuspecting tourists.
You can earn 17 different shark species in seven different sizes types – everything from a small reef shark to the big, bad great white. There are three different worlds to explore – the Pacific Island, Arctic Ocean, and Arabian Sea. There are special secrets to find and explore in each.

Hit the ocean
The hungry shark needs to eat, so you'll be wreaking havoc in the sea and eating a number of different creatures. Just watch out for the under sea mines.
When chomping down on fish isn't enough
And the action definitely isn't confined to under the sea. If you get tired of chomping down on anything in the sea, just head up top and say hello to some unsuspecting humans.
Travel around the world
After progressing through levels, you unlock other different locals like the Arctic Ocean.

Hungry Shark World is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
As usual with this type of freemium game, there are a number of in-app purchases available to help progress faster.
While I’m usually not a big fan of this type of game, I really enjoyed the first few levels of Hungry Shark World and am looking forward to maybe wreaking some havoc with the great white.
