Telemundo Now Arrives on the Apple TV
Another great content provider is now available on the Apple TV. The Telemundo Now app has arrived for the fourth-generation streaming device.
Full seasons and more
After authenticating with your pay TV credentials, you’ll receive access to full seasons of popular shows, short-form clips, and other clips from the top Spanish-Language network.
Some of the shows include Super Series El Señor de los Cielos, Señora Acero, the courtroom show Caso Cerrado, and the singing competition La Voz Kids.
NBC Universal has been aggressive with providing network apps on the Apple TV. Some currently available to download include NBC, USA, Bravo, E!, Syfy, NBCSN, and CNBC.
Single sign-on coming soon in tvOS 10
Along with single sign-on, tvOS 10 will bring a dark mode and more.
While apps like Telemundo Now are a great way to view content, it’s definitely a pain to have to re-enter your cable credentials with each app downloaded on the Apple TV. And Apple is making that process much easier with tvOS 10.
Officially announced last week at WWDC 2016, the new software will feature a great single sign-on feature. You’ll enter your credentials on the Apple TV and then receive all apps in your cable or satellite package that support the feature.
Other additions in the software include a smarter Siri, a dark mode, automatic app downloads, HomeKit support, and more. Currently in beta testing, the software should arrive to the general public sometime in the early fall.
Along with the fourth-generation Apple TV, Telemundo Now is also available for the iPhone/iPod touch and all iPad models.
