Prisma Lets You Turn Your Videos Into Moving Works of Art
Prisma is about to get even more popular, especially with the video-loving crowd, given that the app now supports videos in addition to photos.
Since its launch in June, Prisma has been a hit among users who wish to beautify their otherwise ordinary images with stunning art filters. Essentially, the app employs complex algorithms in applying the styles of famous artists and the looks of famous ornaments and patterns to create works of art out of photos and, as of today, videos.
Great works of art
Prisma has a nice interface and is easy to use. You can import images from your Photo Library or snap new ones. Select the filter you want from the huge library (over 30 are included for free), and then sit back and watch your pictures get the attention of everyone on your Instagram.

Intuitive
Prisma has a barebones minimalistic interface that is super easy to use and understand. There are a ton of filters to choose from, and you can adjust the strength just by sliding horizontally along the image. Control how artsy your photos become.
With its latest update, Prisma has gained the ability to transform videos into arty masterpieces as well. While each video is limited to 15 seconds only (presumably in part for reasons of shareability), this ability is a rather impressive feat, since it entails the processing of images frame by frame.
Just pick a video from your library or shoot up to 15 seconds of video using Prisma’s in-app camera and choose one of the available video filters. Wait for the processing to complete, and there it is: your very own moving painting, comic book, what have you.
Your device doesn’t need to be connected to the Internet to transform videos, since 100 percent of the processing is done locally. But this means that advanced processing power is required, which is why support for videos in Prisma is available only on iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, 7 and 7 Plus running iOS 10, and why processing times vary across the different compatible models.
