玩家在游戏中扮演养老院的院长，通过招募老人，提供老人喜欢的娱乐设施，来满足老人的精神需求。同时，通过招募有医疗技能的护工，来解决老人的一些日常病痛。
老人们来自天南地北，有来自云贵川渝的老人，他们喜欢吃辣，喜欢麻将；
有来自广东，他们喜欢甜品；有来自东北退休的老国企，他们喜欢泡澡，所以麻将馆、甜品店、澡堂子等等，应有尽有。
