２Dと３Dが融合したスクロール式のアクションゲームである。
にゃんこ（ポン吉）を操作して猫珠という宝石を集めるために世界中を冒険する。
ステージが進むごとに使用できるアクションが解放させていき、より複雑で険しい道のりに変化していく。
基本アクションのジャンプ、通常攻撃、ローリング（回避行動）の３つに加え、魔法や猫珠（ボール）アクションを状況に応じて使い分けなければゲーをクリアすることができない。
また、フィールドの何処かににゃんこを強化するお助けアイテムが隠されているのでステージをクリアできない場合は探してみよう！
