选用252个词根作为基础，把同根词集中在一起，配以单词分析实例，使读者了解单词是如何构成的，词义是如何产生的。读者一旦掌握分析单词的能力以后，便可掌握大量词汇。
内容的后一部分是词缀，包括124个前缀和165个后缀。凡较常用的词缀均已收入。多义的词缀均按义分条举例解释。例词都选用常用词，以利辨认和理解。
总之，这个App是学习英语单词的利器。
