Recording of precise vehicle data
The Porsche Track Precision App is connected via the Porsche Communication Management system or a special app control unit with various control units and records accurate data from the vehicle sensors.
Recording of vital data
Heart rate is recorded via Apple Health if an Apple Watch is connected to the iPhone. The heart rate can be evaluated later in the analysis.
Live displays
Two live views are available while driving on a race track:
- Lap timer: Clear display of the lap time with real-time deviation to a reference lap recording as well as the predictive lap time
- Drive at your limits: Reduced display of your current and possible learned performance.
Video analysis
Use your smartphone while driving to record videos for subsequent analysis. To obtain an additional view point while driving, a second video can be added, for example, from another smartphone camera or action cam.
Videos are available to view on your smartphone directly after driving – enhanced with useful driving data to improve your performance.
Driving performance analysis
By connecting to the vehicle sensors, the app enables you to analyse additional driving data which can be compared with previous laps, allowing you to improve your driving performance, for example, in relation to the steering angle, braking pressure and the position of the accelerator pedal.
