A community mobile app for emergency reporting

1Hope is a community mobile app for emergency reporting. Under the Defensys platform, this community mobile app can be used by anyone, particularly the citizens of Barangay Bagong Pag-asa, Quezon City, who wants to report emergencies and become aware of any potential hazard within the community of the Barangay Government of Bagong Pag-asa, Quezon City, Philippines. The reports and news feeds received by the user come from emergency reporting systems established on the Barangay Command Center. Using the community mobile app, individuals may initiate contact with the command center for emergency reporting.

Situational Awareness For Everyone: The community app is equipped with News and alerts to keep the user informed of the real-time situation and potential hazards nearby.

Directory: The user may access list of local and national emergency hotlines in case of emergency.

SOS Button: The user may tap an SOS button to initiate contact with the command center to report emergency with GPS location for immediate tracking and response.

Reporting with Pictures: Aside from SOS button, the user may also report to command center by sending emergency report details with pictures.
