The 2box Remote App offers two separate control layers, Mixer and Channels, each designed to adjust specific aspects of sound control. On the Mixer level, you manage the overall output level and the tempo of the metronome, while on the Channel level, you can adjust settings for individual pads and their possible functions, offering many customization options.
The 2box Remote App is designed to interact seamlessly and in real-time with DrumIt 3 and DrumIt 5 modules providing intuitive navigation and practical tools for fine-tuning.
Mixer Control: Eight fader groups allow you to adjust the volume of individual channels groups. The respective channels are factory assigned to the following groups: KICK, SNARE, HIHAT, TOMS, CYMBS, and PERC. Additionally, the FX, LINE, and ACMP controls of fine tuning these volumes: FX for internal effects, LINE for incoming line-in signals, and ACMP for the volume of the metronome or the song player, depending on the kit.
Live channel adjustments: Access a clear mixer for each drum pad in the set. The volume is adjusted with seamless faders. Functions can also be assigned to each pad. Trigger Gain can be adjusted live and the individual sound volumes. ATTACK, HOLD, and DECAY is available to adjust the envelope of each sound.
Function to Pad or Trigger: Drum pads or trigger signals can be assigned functions such as START (for metronome or song playback), STOP, PAUSE PLAYBACK, NEXT KIT, PREVIOUS KIT, and more within the app. The tapping function allows you to manually determine the tempo in real-time by hitting a pad.
Sound Shaping: TUNE adjusts the pitch of the sound, with the lowest pitch setting at -12 (an octave down) and the highest dependent on the chosen sound, typically up to +4 semitones. BAL controls the sound's placement in the stereo field, with +0 representing a balanced position between the left and right sides.
