3000 Chinese Character

The 3000 Chinese Character Dictionary App is designed for Chinese language learners at any level. The main part of this App is the 3000 Chinese Character Dictionary, which is a very popular Chinese learning dictionary. Based on the most frequently used 3,000 characters, it also contains over 14,000 Chinese phrases and idioms, and more than 5,500 sample sentences (with pinyin and English translation).

“Learn in Frequency order” can help you find out where a character stands in order of frequency.

Save your own characters, sort them by degree of difficulty, and then you can practice them in “Exercise” section.

※Exercise

This section gives you a chance to practice connecting the pinyin, radical, English meaning, audio recording and character form.

Within the App, animated stroke sequences will help you master character writing and a variety of exercises will make you more familiar with each character. After learning 3,000 characters, you will be able understand 99% of the characters used in Chinese media.
