IPCA organizes the IPC every year with an objective "to advance and promote the cause of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Profession of Pharmacy in all their aspects so as to ensure that Indian Pharmacy Products and profession are the best in the world and to help the public to get the best of benefit out of the same".
The 68th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress 2016 is being held for the First Time in the state of Andhra Pradesh after the division, in the most happening city of Visakhapatnam during December 16-18, 2016 and will be hosted by IPA at the Prestigious Andhra University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The theme "Quality Pharmaceuticals and Patient Welfare" envisages how Pharmacists can play a leadership role in the country to promote and realize the vision of Healthy India as well as stimulate discussions and thought processes centered around how the country and the pharmacy profession respond to realize this vision.
The 68th IPC invites leaders from Pharma Industry, Regulatory, Academia, Research, Hospital and Community across the globe to deliberate and present their vision in their respective areas and views about the major role a Pharmacy professional can play in the health care system of the country in years to come.
