7 Tans - Kids

7 Tans for kids is the classic Chinese game of Tangram, also known in China as 七巧板 or the "Seven Boards of Skill". For this version specifically redesigned for kids, rules can be relaxed or enforced by parents and educators from the Settings app: Take a look at the second screenshot.

The objective of the puzzle is to form a given shape given only it's silhouette. Kids must use all seven of the provided pieces, called tans. The seven tans must not overlap within the shape's silhouette.

Like building blocks, tangrams teach kids about spatial relationships. They help kids learn geometric terms and develop stronger problem solving skills. They might even help children perform better in general mathematics.

7 Tans for Kids features:

- 120 puzzles carefully selected for being kid-friendly and easy to complete: This is by far the largest collection of Tangrams available for younger players!

- Simplified interface suitable to very young players

- Parents and educators can customize the game difficulty to match the young player skills from the Settings application. For example, rotating tans can be disabled, consequently making the game suitable to very young players or even children with special needs.

- Snapping: Great for kids and also a valuable hint for beginners. Correctly positioned tans will snap into place. The snapping effect can be made 'Strong' to help kids with fine motor difficulties.

- Outlines: The outlines of the tans can be drawn on top the silhouette to help young players.

- Colorful, attractive and modern graphics.

- No competitive gameplay: Game Center is not enabled.

- No advertising.

- No In-App Purchase.

- Respects your privacy and your child rights to privacy: Absolutely no data collected, COPPA compliant.

Game Play:

- Form the specified shape given only its silhouette.

- Use all seven tans, with no overlap.

- Drag the tans to move them and if Rotation is enabled, tap to rotate them.

- The lozenge (parallelogram) can be flipped using the sidebar 'Flip' button, if flipping is enabled.
