ABEX Reports

INTRODUCTION
ABEX Report mobile application is primarily intended for direct data reading from corporate SAP BW systems and for submission of complex analytic data to users (company’s management team) in the form of convenient and interactive reports (charts, maps and compact tables).
Besides, ABEX can generate reports based on the data from CSV files for fast presentations and baselines preparation. Such CSV file must have special marking under column names.
ABEX communicates with BW systems via SOAP RFC protocol and receives data directly, without any additional connectors and other program logic layers. For this reason, data transmission between ABEX and BW is extremely fast.
To ensure this, user device must be connected to corporate systems. Options are corporate VPN, or AirWatch agent, or corporate Wi-Fi.
There may be several BW type systems in your company. For example, SAP HR and SAP CRM may include BW subsystems. ABEX application allows receiving data from all such systems simultaneously.
Data are supposed to be updated by schedule when a connection to corporate systems is established.
ABEX saves data to your mobile device to ensure availability of reports even when you are off-line.
ABEX is read-only application for BW systems’ data aimed at generating analytic reports. Therefore, there is no possible way to damage your corporate data.
ABEX application is free from ads; also, your personal information is neither collected nor transferred any further.

LIMITATION OF ABEX ABILITY TO READ DATA FROM BW QUERIES
ABEX application not supposed to reproduce all features of “SAP BEX Analyzer”.
App can’t read complex BW queries (reports) with nested structures, hierarchies, cells, etc.
App reads data from simple flat table-like queries only.
App supports only simple variables of types: Single, Multiple values and Interval.
Values for hierarchy variables will be read as flat list of values.
Recommended quantity of dimensions (key characteristics) in a query is about 5 - 7.
Recommended quantity of measures (key figures) in a query is about 5 - 7.
Recommended maximum quantity of data rows returned by query is about 10 thousand rows.
