App Store Description

Acceleration in the Electric Field Calculator are physic/math calculator to find particle mass, particle charge, electric field or particle acceleration fast and easy.

Features:
- Instant calculation
- Result are copy able to other app
- Formula are include as reference
- Support up to 16 decimal place
- Support various unit for each input

When a particle of charge q and mass m is placed in an electric field E, the electric force exerted on the charge is qE. If this is the only force exerted on the particle, it must be the net force and so must cause the particle to accelerate.

If E is uniform (that is, constant in magnitude and direction), then the acceleration is constant. If the particle has a positive charge, then its acceleration is in the direction of the electric field. If the particle has a negative charge, then its acceleration is in the direction opposite the electric field.

Formula:
F = m * a
q * E = m * a
a = q * E / m

where:
a - acceleration of the particle
q - charge of the particle
m - mass of the particle
E - electric field
